Iceland is not a fairytale – explanation
Iceland has already shown it´s lack of financial responsibility once with the country´s collapse in 2008. I guess they, to avoid it from happening again, all turned into money vacuum machines.
Everything this country now does is to raise the prices every year, some grocery stores even raise the prices on everything before the tourist season. Some more than double the cost.
Make no mistake. If the Icelanders can, they will take money from you for everything. Even to see a waterfall or a hole in the ground with water in it.
This is not a country anymore, but a Tivoli with nature rides and overly priced ice cream.
